Thin metal. Don't grill meat with lot of sauce or it will be hard to clean it.

This grill works great. It does not smoke at all. You add water to the bottom portion of the grill and it kept the meat very moist. The only con is that I had to add additional water 3 times during the cooking of a steak on medium heat. The size if perfect for someone cooking just for one. Clean up is easy!

This Grill is perfect for anyone who wants delicious grill flavor and the convenience of cooking indoors. We've tried cooking both chicken and steak filets with great success.
