Compatibility Info

This DVD Media is compatible with most DVD Burners. Most burners were produced over the last couple of years have primarily been "multi-format," meaning, they will burn the "-R/RW" and "+R/RW" formats. If you have a burner that is single format, meaning, it will only burn the "-" format or the "+" format, please make sure you purchase the correct format for your burner. If your burner is multi-format, either of the two formats should work fine. For higher rated burn speeds, such as 16x media, your burner must be a 16x burner in order to burn 16x rated media. You can purchase higher rated media, such as 16x rated media for a 4x or 8x DVD burner, your DVD burner will just burn that media at a slower speed. Also, it is recommended that you upgrade your burner's firmware to the latest revision. For more information regarding firmware or compatibility, please consult your DVD burner manufacturer.

Please Note: Most DVD burner manufacturers will only list brand named media as being Compatible, when in fact, most media manufacturers don't produce their own media to begin with. There are many reasons for this, but if in doubt, we recommend you purchase a small quantity initially to see which type of media works best for you.

I absolutely love these discs. Hands down the best I have ever bought. I have tried everything from Phillips, HP, Office Depot, even tried Sonic, Ridata, and Azul. Nothing comes close to these. I have already burned 400+ of these. Can't remember but 3 bad discs. Also, I have used them on 3 different brands of DVD burners. They work great. You can't go wrong with these.

I have used over 5000 of these disks and have never had a single failure. This has to be some sort of a record.

I just bought another 200 and I have burned almost 3000 and never an error due to the disks. Shop4tech is the best!

These are some of THE BEST dvd-r discs I have ever used. I burn a LOT of dvds with my dvd recorder hooked up to my tv. I have not had a failure on ANY of these dvds. As far as I'm concerned, they are the only ones I will buy.

I have burned about 600 of these .. just one defective one. By way of contrast, most of the Memorex DVDs from from Wal Mart do not work....The are the best I have ever used

These are the BEST dvd-r discs you can buy. I have bought several hundred and have not had so much as 1 failure when writing to disc. I sincerely hops that Valueline will stay in business. I would not be satisfied with any other brand.

I never got any coasters. After a few months some discs i used for data/file backup do not read/play some media files after a few months is only complaint. It freezes and cant open it. Dont use these for archiving files.

The BEST low cost blank dvd out there. I have purchased over 3000 of the 8x and 1100 of the older 4x, and have had less than 20 bad discs. I am very pleased with Shop4Tech and the TY Valueline blank dvd-r products. Art Franklin Scranton,PA

Have bought at least 3 bundles of 100 and have never had any fail! I can buy these dvd's and have them shipped to my home for a lot less than going to Wal-mart or any other big store.

These DVD's write beautifully. I have been using them for just over a year. The only time I ever had a coaster was when I had problem with my software. With Shop4Tech free shipping the price can't be beat. I have used over 400 and I think they are great.

Was rather disappointed in these. No platters, but all 3 of my DVD readers (Memorex 8x, Sony Optiarc 16x and Samsung 16x) only recognize them at 4x instead of 8x. So they burn REAL SLOW. Very annoying.

The disks work great but the only complaint I have is it seems like they collect dust very easily and scratches show up easily too. I used up all 100 already and there wasn't one defective one.
