Great discs overall, burn flawlessly at 6x via my trusty old NEC 3540A and 3550A, scoring 93+% quality rating (checked via Nero). First disc didn't do so well because it was burned at 8x speed, resulting in high error rate. So burn slower, and these should work fine. Printed a few discs already & the quality is satisfactory. Thanks Shop4Tech!

Cheap and ok, but when I play it on my DVD, many problems occur. After I burn, look at the back of the Dis, There are some circle lines on the burn side. Which make problems when I play on my DVD player.

Less (way less) than 1% failure rate.
Great burn - very pretty printing.
Awesome discs.
Note: Don't wash disc, ever - I'm going to have to try (someday) the water resistant discs.
These are cheaper to re-burn & re-print than clean.

I've bought around 1000 of theses, 200 at a time so it's been different batches.
No coasters, burn great up to 12X.
Playback flawlessly on console DVD players.
One complaint:
A huge number (50-75%) of the burned DVDs (as movies) cannot be re-ripped on my computer, not even by the drive that burned them. (I ususally burn at 4X, so it's not a speed issue.) As this is not something I do often, I can't say how long this has been true. I do notice that both these and other media that give me this problem are all dark purple writting surfaces.
I also have not yet tried burning data and reading back. I will attempt this soon, as I have only recently discovered this issue, and primarily burn video discs.
Except for the re-ripping issue (which may or may not be a concern for your uses), I would recommend these without reservation.

I started to use these DVD's just over a year ago. I have never had a problem with writing to them ever. The price is great and no coasters. I have used over 400 and will be ordering more soon.

Decided to take a chance on these off brand blanks and was very
much surprised that Nero reports they are TYG02. Burn perfectly
on my NEC ND-3550A at 12X! Ordered 200 print to hub and not a
coaster yet and print is great and dries instantly. Just hope the next batch is just as good.

i have bought the ones with the matted finish like paper on the front and they burn alright but have trouble playing them, however these have a shiny smooth finish with a star icon on the front of the disc center and they are easy to write on and have burned at any speed i want and the only bad ones i have had is where i was trying to do to many things with my puter at the same time, im burnin, otherwise they are great, and im going to continue to buy them, i just got a new laptop and it is a dual layer dvd burner, for what thats worth, and they burn fine in it as well, so i have burned them in at least 4 different burners and they work fine, so as far as i can tell you wont go wrong, unless you have a puter that just isnt up to doing the burn to begin with, always have lots of ram, and no slow processor an i think you will be very pleased with these disc.

Another 100 PK. Burned 2 discs. Ran NERO test. Quality scores were 96 and 95. This products gets better and better. The printable surface improved a bit compared to the previous batches. Smoother and whiter surfaces. A+

Just got these in... Burned a couple without any problems. Saw that the media code is TYG02, surprised the fake ones are still around. The printable surface is very smooth and white.
I give 4 out of 5 stars only because of poor packaging job. The cake boxes were put in a box, wrapped around just once with bubble wrap. There was nothing to hold it from rolling around in the box. Opened up both cake boxes and saw that the center pole holding the discs in the cake boxes were BROKEN. When I took the cake box lid off, the discs when sliding everywhere. Thankfully, the discs were okay with no scratches, etc. Think the spindle (pole) was broken because of the packaging. Not a good experience.

After trying many types and speeds of inkjet printables, surpriseingly, the cheapest have turned out to be the best. I buy in 1K quantities and have had so few "bad discs" it's not worth mentioning. Certainly some may have been the burner. In the last 2000 discs there were about 6 that got trashed. Not bad compared to my previous experiance. At least I am finally reading and burning what an 8X should.

I have used several hundred of these disc. Average about 8% of disc received are scratched. One package of 25 had 12 missing with no reply from email sent to shop4tech. Other than that the disc are pretty good.

Sonic DVD-R 8X 4.7GB are great. I bought the Epson R220 inkjet printer to print covers on the disc, so I bought Sonic for the price. All of the disc I made came out good and I have printed 250 out of a thousand with only two coasters.
