Worked great for about 3 DVD's, and then it rapidly loses it's ability to repair and instead just leaves swirl marks all over the media. Changed to the spares I bought and same thing.
Aside from that, it almost burned our house down. Probably my fault, but.... Ran a DVD cycle in it but clicked on the open button before the cycle ended and pulled out the disc. Left the cover open and went to bed. About 4 in the morning, I woke up and smelled a very acrid electronic burning smell. Searched all over and finally found that this thing was half melted. The wall wart was red hot too. Apparently when the cycle isn't done, and you leave the door open, the electronics inside keep going or something, and they're apparently not set up to run continuously.

MY FRIEND HAS A DVD RENTAL STORE IN ANOTHER STATE. HE SENDS ME THE USED DVD'D THAT HE CAN NO LONGER RENT/SELL. MANY TIMES I WOULD PITCH THEM WHEN THEY WOULDN'T WORK, NOW I USE THE REPAIR KIT AND THEY WORK JUST FINE. I BOUGHT 2 KITS, ONE JUST FOR CLEANING AND THE OTHER FOR REPAIRING. IT IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT.

A DVD of my son was scratched and unplayable about half way though. I even tried importing the data into my video editing software, but it choked at the scratch. I thought the video was gone forever...until I found Disc Repair Pro. It took me several cleanings, but finally was able to make a perfect copy (I actually made 2 - 1 to play and 1 for safekeeping - and both protected by d_skins!). Thank you Disc Repair Pro!!!

This product is basically better than butter on bread. I have already fixed several broken games, there is nothing worse than spending all that money for a game and then have it crap out before you can finish it, and two of my DVD's. I found that cleaning my CD and DVD and Game collection is going to help them last longer so I have to buy the cleaning refill frequently but the repair solutions are still good to go. So it is very convienient to be able to buy just the refills that I need.

I've repaired about 20 cd's and dvd's, some badly scratched and unplayable. All media worked perfectly, after using the repair kit. I am truly inpressed by the results of this product. I saved alot of money by purchasing this repair kit as opposed to buying the competitions...overpriced kit. I recommended it to all my friends and family. Please let me know what other products are provided by this manufacture. Thank you, look forward to future purchases.

This machine is great! I repaired few of my scratched game disc and DVDs. I notice it will not take out the scratches completly but I guess it's more important to just bring my CDs back to work. Definately worth it! I made my money back by fixing one of my $50 value game disc.

This machine work well, but can not do all it claims.Beside that the refill kits are to costly! Why because the whole package deal is cheaper than buying refills kits.I would like to know why the refills are so costly?So when you use everything
up trash it. Than buy a new whole package deal with a saving of
TWELVE TO FOURTEEN DOLLARS

I've repaired about 60 CD's and DVD's, some scratched and unplayable discs. All 60 disks worked better after one or two treatments. Some of the unplayable DVD's needed to be run through the pink buffers twice. Then I did the cleaning cycle on them. They still had noticeable scratching but played some what good. I've tried the hand cleaning products and they never worked. I don't know what everyone else does to save and repair there disc's. But I used 3 of the Memorex Pro in 2-mounths. The plastic teeth kept breaking off the wheels of the machine! And it doesn’t repair Deep scratches at all. I have been repairing my disc whit a baby diaper and misty sprayer bottle and work better then any CLEANER on the market today!

I truly don't know what everyone else does to save and repair disc's that is 100% successful. It just doesn't remove DEEP scratches.
I have been able to repair purchased used media & made to function as new. The refill packages are listed, I just haven't found them for sale yet.
